Amalia Molina Taveras. Attorney in charge of the corporate Department of the firm and she specializes in the practice of Commercial and Corporate law, Contracts, Derecho Civil, Real State Law and Migration services, within others.

She centers her practice on Mercantile Law and provides advising in corporate formation: shareholder structure, mergers and acquisitions, formation and managing of Offshores and, all mercantile transactions according to the laws of the Dominican Republic. She advises in the fields of foreign and immigration affairs with all matters related to the obtainment of visas, work permits and provisional or definite residencies in occasion to an extended stay in the Dominican Republic.

Within the firm, she has dealt with accounts for both, multinational groups and important Dominican business groups, including the advise of Fortune 500 corporation in the Information Technology field. She has also worked in multiple Due Diligences for the merger and acquisition of telecommunications enterprises and financial enterprises. She has worked very closely with the preparation of the new rules to enforce the new commercial companies’ law in DR.

Amalia Molina Taveras obtained her degree in law, Cum Laude, at the Pedro Henriquez Ureña University (UNPHU) in 1990. Coauthored: “The Real State Broker’s Liability in the breach of a Sales Contract”. She is currently a member of the Dominican Bar Association

In a constant process of broadening of his academic preparation, she has participated in seminaries, specialization courses, workshops and diploma courses about the subjects of Commercial Law, Off shores, Contracts, Arbitration, Intellectual Property Law, Execution proceedings and Embargos, e-commerce, Immigration Law of the United States of America and Real Estate Law.
