Gregorit José Martínez Mencia. Graduated at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), Dominican Republic. He has been trained in Criminal Procedures at the Post-Graduate unit of the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD). Currently, cursing the master of Civil Procedures at the same university. Also, he has taken courses of Labor Contracts in the Dominican Republic and Oratory Skills.
Before joining Angeles & Lugo Lovatón, Mr. Martinez worked at the Prosecutor Office of the National District, since 2008, in the departments of Early Decision, Monetary Crimes, Suits and Complaints, Initial Litigation, Late declaration (concerning to the vital records), and as a supervisor of the Community Prosecution Offices (This offices are subdivisions that are in charge of making justice more accessible and efficient to the citizens)
In the time he worked at the Prosecutor Office, he acquired experience in drafting legal documents for Criminal Procedures (suits, instances, acusations, etc), and the filing of criminal processes (preparatory phase). In the years 2007 and 2008, he was in charge of issuing the decisions of the cases sent to the Civil Courts, such as falsification, declarations of absensce, missing, rectifications of documents, etc) In his last days there, he had the responsability to ensure the proper filing of the cases by the District Attorneys Assistants such as requests for warrants arrests, searches, coercive measures, proper attention to the victim, as well as to inspect their conducts.
He currently serves as a litigation lawyer at the law firm Angeles & Lugo Lovaton.
